Technical information about this website’s accessibility
This website is partially compliant with the Act on Accessibility Requirements for Certain Products and Services. Any parts that are not accessible are described below.
Content with accessibility issues
The content described in the following heading is, in one way or another, not fully accessible.
- Age Verification Modal: The age confirmation modal does not trap keyboard focus. Users navigating with the keyboard (tab/shift+tab) can move outside the modal to underlying page elements. This creates confusion and prevents the modal from functioning as intended.
- Unclear Link Name for Logo: The main brand logo links to the homepage, but the alternative text only says “logo.” This does not clearly convey the destination.
- Slide in menu behaviour: Menu state (open/closed) is not programmatically conveyed.
- Language inconsistancies: Because the website mixes English and Danish, the screen reader and similar tools might read certain links, texts and alternative texts in Danish always.
- Repetitive text: On search results and the front page, certain elements (e.g., images and links) repeat the same text unnecessarily, causing redundant screen reader output.
- Low Visibility of Link Focus States: Certain links have insufficient contrast when focused, making them difficult or impossible to detect for keyboard users.
- Button Hover State Contrast Issues: Buttons with a pink arrow inside a circle on a black/transparent background have a hover state color that is too close to the default state, making the interaction unclear.
- Non-Descriptive Alcohol Characteristic Icons: Icons representing product characteristics on product pages lack a text that explains their purpose (smell, taste etc.)
- Social buttons (SVG icons) in the footer lack a discernible name
- Image acting as link has no alt text. Because the image-link has no alt description, assistive technologies only announce “link.”
